Located in Wanaka in the South Island is the impressive Warbirds and Wheels Museum.  A small but impressive collection of Warbird aircraft and rare automobile icons.  Standouts of the collection include a 1934 Model J Dusenberg.  An extensive local restoration makes this a very fine example and believed to be the only Dusenberg in the Southern Hemisphere.  Of racing note is the Lycoming Special.  Built in New Zealand by Ralph Watson it was a feature of the New Zealand motorsport scene in the 1950's and 60's.  As well as Ralph it was drive by Bruce Mclaren and World Champion Jim Clark.
